I ordered this product several days ago and here's my short review on it so far: I have been looking for other low sugar alternatives other than Gatorade or Powerade for a while so decided to give this one a shot. Flavor is very good (watermelon) and I like the fact that it has more electrolytes in it than the average sports drink. I may try Mango Lime next once I run out of this box. So far, so good!
5/5 Rating Since this "pandemic" situation we're going through I've become the book case definition of a couch potato. I literally got up, showered, walked to the computer, sat in my office chair for 12-15 hours, moved to the couch then went BACK to the office chair. It was bad. Since the last few weeks I've been slowly getting back to working out and I find that it's harder the older you get. But this electrolyte powder helps. It's been able to give me energy and help me recover more than if I didn't use it. The taste is pretty good - it is sweet but not overly sweet. I get real bad cramps whenever I work out. This product has completely stopped them and it tastes great
These packets definitely do the trick in waking you up before working out, or even just throughout the day. I always feel wide awake after drinking one. The watermelon flavor is pretty good. It tastes how you would expect for an artificial watermelon taste. I like these packets because they also have a hydration component mixed in. They're also easy to grab and take on the go and mix really well into water. I never have any chunks floating around and it dissolves pretty fast. Overall, this is a good pre workout option for those on the go!
I like the fact that it clearly lists how much caffeine there is in each packet. 200mg caffeine per pack is equal to a large cup of strong coffee. The taste is pleasant and not overbearing. I also like that it does not have highly excessive amounts of B vitamins like some energy boost preparations, which can cause jitters and irritability. Price per packet is $1.25, which I find it to be reasonable.
I love this stuff. My new favorite energy drink.
