This Osavi Milk Thistle comes in a sealed plastic bottle. Note that it doesn't have a child locking lid so you'll need to keep these out of the reach of children. There are 60 vegan capsules in the pack and the recommended dose is one capsule a day after a meal. This means that the pack should last you about two months, which is pretty good value. Milk Thistle is good for liver function and for your brain according to my research. I'm not getting any younger and I enjoy the odd glass of wine so I'm happy to be taking this Milk Thistle supplement on a regular basis

Milk Thistle detoxifies the liver. IN high doses however it can cause chronic diarrhea so you do need to be careful. As these are only 100mg i have been giving them to my dog. She has IMHA and her liver takes a battering from being on prednisone and tralieve and these keep her liver values stable. She has been on Lindens ones for years but these are the same values, however unlike the lindens ones these are capsules which stick in her throat so i break the capsules open and put the contents directly into her food. Good value for money for 60 capsules.

These are easy to swallow with a drink but they are a bit larger than i am used to. They arrived well packaged. Not sure what milk thistle does as theres alot of on the fence information out there but i heard its good for thyroids and women in general

I ordered these to try out as an alternative to the milk thistle extract capsules I have been taking for a while just to help with liver support and overall well-being. I certainly notice if I don't take any for a couple of days so I am now making sure that I do every day. These capsules are 100mg each and the suggested dosage is 1 capsule per day. I have mine in the morning with breakfast and very happy to say that after about a month they seem to be working as well as previous brands I have tried. There is no noticeable after taste and no bad side effects after taking 1 of these each morning. At 6.37 (at the time of review) for 2 months supply is great value compared to what I have been paying and so I am quite likely to continue with these now as they are very reasonable and only taking 1 capsule per day rather than the 2 or even 3 that were the suggested dosage for others - this works better for pocket and for taking along with a couple of other daily supplements. Very happy with these :) Thank you :)

I really appreciate the fact that this is a clearly marked vegan supplement with a vegetarian capsule shell. The capsules are typical size and easy enough to swallow. You are getting 60 here and if you stick to the recommended serving size of one then they will last you around 2 months. Pretty good value for money at under a tenner. You get a decent expiry date so more than enough time to use this supplement up. Certainly one to consider for your liver health.
