They're loaded with nuts with many pieces being 1/2" dia The chocolate coating contains delicious cocoa butter and are a nutritious snack of 8 g protein, and sweetened with steviol glycosides which doesn't effect blood sugar level. The ingredients include pea protein but it's not noticeable to me = the overall flavor is dark chocolate. GOOD protein bar = 5 stars

My daughter loves them!

I was a bit worried after reading some of the reviews stating that these taste terrible but I am rather confused. These are not regular chocolate bars, they are a healthy alternative and I think they taste really good!! The texture is not like a regular chocolate bar either, it is more of a cookie dough consistency with a bunch of nuts and a nice dark chocolate taste. It is possible since I have been on a diet for the past 2 months and have had very little sugar and no candy that these taste much better to me but as a healthy alternative I think these bars are fantastic.

Given the price, you'd hope these taste good. Thankfully they do. Almost a bit too good, seeing as I struggled to refrain from eating the entire box in one sitting. Texture wise, these resemble fudge more than the other bars I'm used to. That is ok, of course. Not crumby, not too chewy, just right. If I could afford to eat these every single day, I certainly would. Therefore I highly recommend these if you can afford a new habit.

...add chocolate & mocha and a cup of coffee and I have breakfast. Granted, it's not a mango-sized chocolate muffin from Starbucks but the healthy ingredients and good taste has me reordering these every 2 weeks. The company is small and I usually buy directly from them b/c they advertise on a podcast I like, so I'm supporting 2 small companies. The price on MySupplementShop is less but I've had to deal directly with company via email and the folks in the Macadamia House are stellar and pleasant. Good company, good product, give 'em a try.
