Simply the very best fish oil I've tried. My partner

Simply the very best fish oil I've tried. My partner is pregnant, and I'm weary of giving her 'regular' fish oil that can easily have too much vitamin A, which is fat soluble and dangerous to babies (and adults) in large doses. I spoke with the company on live chat and confirmed that this is NOT oil derived from fish liver, so doesn't contain the usual high doses you'd see from cod liver oil and the like. The rep assured me she took it during pregnancy and would recommend it. For what it's worth, I tried another brand of fish oil before this (that also has 5 star reviews on MYSUPPLEMENTSHOP, and usually is a 'sponsored' ad), and e-mailed the founder of the company to ask if they could provide a Certificate of Analysis. He refused, on the grounds that his competitors might try to steal the recipe (?!). Carlson Labs, on the other hand, IMMEDIATELY e-mailed me a recently dated CoA validated by a third-party lab. This gives me much more assurance that it's as pure as they say it is. It's not cheap (especially here in the UK), but I believe it's the very best on the market and I'd trust it for my family.
