Vitamin B6 and Magnesium are both linked to your mood. One study showed that people with low levels of magnesium had a higher risk of developing depression (4). A few studies have linked low blood levels and low Vitamin B6 consumption to depression (5) (6). So supplementing with ZMA may help to improve mood and alleviate symptoms of depression.

INGREDIENTS: ZMA is a combination of Zinc (30mg), Magnesium Aspartate (450mg), and Vitamin B6 (10.5mg). All of these nutrients play an important role in key functions of your body, including your immune system (1), protein synthesis (2), and cognitive function (3).

Zinc and Magnesium deficiencies can lead to lowered levels of testosterone, it might be of benefit to you to supplement with these two minerals in order to maintain a normal level of testosterone. All three ingredients in ZMA play an important role in the body’s immune system. Vitamin B6 is used by the body to make white blood cells, Zinc is also involved in this process as well as the process of wound healing. Magnesium may also help to reduce inflammation.
